... is to offer a low cost alternative to our Nano-Pellets. The pressed pellets are intended for methods where high spatial resolution is not an issue. An example is handheld XRF and LIBS. In these methods, the sample area being analysed is in the mm range rather than the µm range, so the particle size of the powders is less of an issue. In short, Nano-Pellets are still the best choice for microanalytical methods (LA-ICP-MS, micro-XRF). Pressed pellets are intended for bulk analysis techniques.
